In order to get started advertising on citadel client screens you will need to get in touch with our account management team. From this point the onboarding process will be handled by the assigned personnel.
Creating Your First Campaign
Once you have logged into your account, navigate to the campaigns section found on the left side of the screen.
Click on the create campaign button at the top right of the screen and name your campaign accordingly.
After doing so, edit your campaign by clicking on the campaign name.
Here you will find all of your campaign details. From setting budgets, uploading media, targeting locations, and scheduling playback.
Lets start with budgets and spend. You can choose to either set a monthly or daily budget based on your advertising goals. You can also choose to set a target number of playbacks per hour. Both of these choices can affect total spend as reach of your campaign.
Moving to demographics. Here you can choose specific states, industries, and networks you would like to target. You have the ability to turn these selectors on and off as you are not required to input specifics if you choose not to.
Below the demographics section we find scheduling. Here you can choose days, dates, and times in which you would like the ad attached to this campaign to run. Similar to demographics, you are not required to input specifics here if you choose not to.
To the left of the scheduling section we find the media upload. Here you can upload as many pieces of media as you choose. These pieces will shuffle as they play throughout your campaign. Be sure your media is in an mp4 format or it my not play on all devices.
Finally at the bottom of the campaign you can track performance. We see two graphs here, total spend and impression data. This information can also be found on the overview page or downloaded via the reports section.
Running Reports
Reports can be found on the left side of the screen under ‘Campaigns’.
Here you can choose to run either a report highlighting impressions versus time or cost versus time.
Both reports will require you to select a filter type and resource type. Filter type corresponds to either campaigns or specific ads you would like to report on. Resource type allows you to select the specific campaign or ad the report will run on.
You also have the option to select the report output type. Citadel supports CSV, EXCEL, and PDF exports. If you would like to leverage our API for reporting reach out to a Citadel representative to help get this process started.
